do any of you have a slight delay/lag when shifting in manumatic mode? its definitely there, maybe just aboit a half a second or more, but never had tgat with my mazda3. interested to find out, thanks

All transmissions with any kind of shift logic have a slight delay in shifting. It seems the more modern the car the less the delay (in general). I can't say the CX-5 takes any longer than any other automatic tranny I've driven. That's true whether comparing in auto shift mode or in the manual mode of any other automatic. They just keep getting quicker and more telepathic (apparently).
