Man... totaled my 3.5 MSP

Ouch man, it must have been a nasty turn or you hit something to flip the MSP. And yeah, any respectable dealership would have tacked GAP insurance into the loan if you didn't put a huge chunk of money down (like I did) where you would never be "upside down" (god bless finance classes) on the car. You may not be getting much money back, but at least you won't owe on a totaled car.

On a completely different note, I just read the new SCC and they had a review of the 04 SRT-4, complete with an LSD and a smidge more horsepower (230HP-250TQ). They still say it drives like a tank, but at least the wheels dont spin uncontrollably in turns (freak).

Well the SRT-4 was always my second choice, and there are no more MSP's, and if there's a good deal on an SRT-4 i gona buy it.

Hey.. this is offtopic but.. I was at an old fashioned car show.. and this one guy found out how many of his car were left by calling some phone number. Is there a way to do that to see how many MSP's are left?

prolly try the same number as the one you got your production number from...I'd know it, cept I'm too lazy to call and find out. I'm sure they would have an idea of how many haven't been sold. I know there is still a yellow one on my dealers lot(keiswetter in KW)

Damn! Sorry about your MSP, but i'm glad to hear that you and your friend came out in one piece.

As for your next ride....I personally would'nt be getting an SRT-4. I've known three SRT owners w/ nothing but problems mechanical and structural...but at least on a good note, Dodge supports SRT-4 owners w/ up-grades, unlike other comapanies(NAMazda).

I do believe I would go for the EVO VIII. Every owner that i've met had nothing but praise for the car.

glad to hear you are okay, damn deer are the number one look out they are after our cars (MSPs).

I would also like to add to watch out for stupid as people that like to throw eggs, and key peoples car...to bad we can't go hunt them like we can deer.

Yes!!! get an EVO VIII i agree thats the best car Mitsubishi has made in ages besides the VR4 GTO and the 3000gt.

www.mazdausa.com should be able to do an inventory check to see if there are any MSP's left. There seems to be a person everyday here saying they just got their car so there must be some left.


Sorry for the accident(s) though guys. s*** luck for sure. Be glad you have deer though, and not moose. Most people around here don't live after hitting a moose. Damn dumb ass things.

I've seen srt's after an accident too...... I wouldn't want to be in one, that's all I'll say.

Um guys..... just to let you know, SRT4=21K Evo VIII = 30K. NOT THE SAME CLASS. Thats like saying oh, your miata sucks, you should've gotten a S2000. I personally would recommend the brand new Ralliart lancer. Drove it, liked it, but liked the MSP better.

Sorry to here about your car but i do know that Anaheim Mazda in Anaheim Calif. this got two yellow one left on there lot. Was there just this last week end the number is (714) 956-1820 hope it helps .

speaking of Ralliart Lancer, those things are kinda zippy for NA. Probably because it's a manual and I have a auto P5 but I almost trade my P5 for it....
