okay i know this has been posted on another thread but with vague detail as to how you do this, basically i have my greddy full auto turbo timer installed, and as you all know you cant set the factory alarm using the remote while the car is running, i heard there was a way to make the car thing the engintion is off while the tt runs its course so you coudl use your remote to lock the car and set the alarm. If anyone knows how this is done and could post a how to or explain how its done step for step id greatly appreciate it. maybe through in some pictures. right now im using someone else idea i took the factory alarm out and changed the 2nd dipswitch to on and basically i have to manual lock the doors when i get out of the car and after the turbo timers shuts off 1 min later the alarm sets. this gets annoying when i come back out b4 the turbo timers is off i cant use my remote to unlock the doors so i have to manual open it with the key. if anyone knows how to wire it up to were the system thinks the ignition is off while the turbo timer runs please let me know id greatly appreciate it.

very cool i was looking for ya ;) and i even went to the vivid images meet hoping you'd show there maybe i wanna hear that bov.

Man If I knew you were going to the vivid images meet I would have gone. It sucks cause this morning I slept in until 1:00. I woke up and was really pissed off cause I missed the meet.

just get a relay. run the 12 volt ignition to it (one goin in one going out)and then wire the 2 igniton wires to the switch poles on the relay. simple as it sounds. just getin under the dash and splicing and soldering is the hard part cuz ur cramped for space.

yeah I just didn't know how long you would be there. Hey keep me posted if you set up another meet, or if you plan to meet w/vivid images.

explain the relay sorry im new, im kinda like huh? hehe. possibly show me some pics.

DAMMIT, EDIT POSTS, i hate when its all double posts, and a conversation that can be carried on through pm's,

anyhow...maybe 1st mp3 in nh could shed some light on this?

yeah, id like to figure out this relay thing, hrm.. like possibly which wire and explain how a relay is setup or whatever, cuz now im just confused LOL.

leave it to the pro your gonna short your ignition system trying to mess with it...pay 30 bucks to a alarm place tell them to hook ur alarm and time up on a relay on the ignition... if they cant figure that out go to another shop...

i can do it myself i dont soder i hooked up my turbo timer myself im sure i can hook up this relay if i could figure out what exactly you mean.

soldering is the best connection. ur lookin for shorts if it vibrates loose.
this is the relay.

1 2
3 4

igntion goes to 1 and 3 timer goes to 4 alarm goes to 2.
2 and 4 switches on and off
1 is ignition in 3 is ignition out.
its that simple.

Well I got a question about turbo timers as well. Actually a couple of questions;
Like opinions on which ones to get -
Greddy
HKS
Blitz???
Which does everyone think works best?
Also installation - is it really that hard to hook it up? And when it comes to the factory installed alarm is it just best to get someone else to do?
Everything that I have read about installation doesn't seem that hard - but I want it done right and I am not sure if I should do it or get some professional to do it for me. I might go that route anyways just due to time and to having to put my car in to get tinting as it is.....
Just lemme know your thoughts on this plllllleeeeeeaaaaaaassssseeee!!!!
NEW TO TURBOS!!!!!
