So I got one of those magnetic bra's which I think is very nice.....for those who own them does it fit totally flush? I mean our hood buldges up twice towards the sides so that part doesn't contact well with the bra so if it rains water just gets trapped in there...any suggestions or advice or experiences?? Thanks in advance..... Looks sweet though...i'll post my pics later.

I had the same problem when I had mine. I just kept forcing it in that corner every chance I could, and eventually it stayed. It took a couple of weeks. Water is going to get in regardless just take off everyonce and awhile and clean off the hood.

Yea but it took so long to get it angled perfectly.....isn't there a way so water won't get in? I guess not huh? Oh well it still looks kewl as s***..

i got the magnetic bra right after i bought my pro in 2002. it was a hot day and i was driving all morning when i put it on so i had no problem getting it to form to the hood. It sat perfectly flat and i thought i would not get any water under it but about a month later i took it off and there was sand everywhere under the bra. I was so pissed b/c somehow the sand scratched the paint under the bra( i guess from water moving it under the bra) that i took it off. Luckily it buffed out.
plus, a friend of mine has one on his car and has had it for about 6 months now and his is coming apart on the edges where it wraps around the edge of the hood and you press the trim on. the trim is cutting into the bra and making the bend weak so i bet a couple of more times of taking it off and putting it back on and his will be worthless
(nuts)

Dam I didn't know....oh well..... and yea I kept it it the sun and now its forming nicely to the shape of the hood...

when i put mine on i used a hair dryer and heat the sucker up to get it to hold to the creases. then i left if in the sun for a while and worked the two inner creases until the stayed.

I only used it for a week while i went on a road trip to the grand canyon. it held up pretty well.

i would take it off every time you wash it just to be sure you won't scratch up the hood.

I heard magnets fuk up your paint. Also if you leave the bra on too long in the sun, it may discolor it as well. Hope yours will be ok. Take some pics man!

I've had the same experiences w/ mine also. I had to use a hairdryer and work those damn creases for ever untill it was perfectly flush. Now that its cold, it has started to come up again.

Water and s*** will get in there contrary to what magnetbra says. But, I look at it as a payoff. A little scratched paint which can be buffed out outweighs the cost of huge ass paint chips and dings on the hood which can't be buffed out. All in all it's a solid product, it's Mazda's cheap ass paint and angled hood that's the problem:mad:

Ok here are the pics of my Bra...its getting a little better but still bubbles up a little...I still think its a very nice addition to the car.
