MagnaFlow+DP, how loud is the Magnaflow?

Hello folks.

1) I'm interested in the Magnaflow exhaust, is it quality and well made? I live in Iceland and the winters are very wet and in Reykjavik (Capital) they use salt on the streets to keep the ice off, it really eats anything that isn't well made and stainless to the bone.

2) Also the CPE and Protoge Garage have CAIs using the original MAF and then they have their own with the CAI, which one should I get?

3) Turbo timers, do they cool the turbine after you turn off the car if the Turbine needs further cooling?

Thanks in advance..

Magnaflow is great. Always SS and Mendrel bent piping. Sounds excellent w/DP and intake, which is what my setup is right now.

The ATP Turbo 3" DP is much cheaper, same or better than CP-E, IMO.bComes with a bung welded in case you want to hook up a wideband to it.

Correct, a turbo timer cools the turbo down. Not required in our cars, but the owner's manual does state and recommend cooling or letting the car run for at least 30 seconds before turning it off after a decent amount of driving.

I'm thinking about getting the MagnaFlow, the ATP Stainless DP and the MazdaSpeed CAI from Protoge Garage.

I'm thinking about getting new disc for both front and back since the disks have accumulated some rust and I hate it.

Also, is the Magnaflow quieter then the CPE exhaust?

Something wrong with this package, should I look out for something or something that I need to know. Your thoughts appreciated!

Thanks
Simon

Some words of advice from what I have read throughout the forums:

The Magnaflows sound good, but do not have any performance increases because they use 2.5" pipe (CP-E uses 3").

Magnaflow exhaust has had some fitment issues on some cars.

CP-E cat-back with a downpipe is loud, and several people have added additional mufflers. However, the CP-E exhaust is TOP-NOTCH and you will not find better quality.

Just remember, cheap may not always be the way to go. You get what you pay for.
