MAF Relocate

i didnt read he whole thread and this might have been answered but did anyone relocate the MAF on stock pipes? I want to relocate it to add a forge bov or a hks to kill the turkey and run a bit smoother...any ideas?

evilmonkey's right. To relocate on the stock pipes you'd have to hack them up, and they are crappy plastic that expands and cracks pretty easily already.

really is it possible tho i would be able to hack it without making any damage... i mean is it absolutely necessary to have hard pipes?

Would be nice if someone could find a threaded IAT that would work with our stock ECUs. I bet that would cure 'some' of the driveability issues with the relocated MAFs.

If i were to get hard pipes does anyone know a company that has precut pipe for relocating the MAF?

cutting the stock plastic pipes would be a waste of time....they are crap and you'd probably end up w/ a mess...

as far as hardpipes, no, there are no premade kits for hardpipe location. just buy a set and cut a segment out where the MAF goes and thats it...well, kinda lol
