I dont know if this is a silly question at all but does running cat less affect the MAF? I ask becasue this will be the 2nd MAF ive went through in less than year. First one was bout 3 months old. Second i got used from a friend lasted about a 2 weeks damn p0171 so does my exhuast have any affect on my MAF.

i will be back in VA tomorrow i will be in Yorktown for three weeks.

good. we will have to fix your car.. and tune the split second! there's supposed to be a decent turnout at the york high show this sat. oh, and you have to come help us install leonards turbolife front mount!!!

Where you guys doing it at? Ill be there but my classes end at 1600 everyday.

Is your MAF before or after the turbo? A lot of times, MAF's don't work well when pressurized. My old car was a Nissan Maxima with a custom turbo. We ran the MAF after the turbo so we didn't have to deal with recirculating it. It ran fine on the stock MAF, but when we swapped to a 300ZX turbo MAF, it didn't really like being on the pressurized side.

If by blow through MAF that im not recirculationg I am. I have the stock BPV is that what you are asking?

its before the turbo i just bought one and i will see if this one works if not then i dont know whats up with car.

Ok i have another question. could the weather cause my my MAF to read a voltage that is too high? The code went off after i got a new MAF the day before yesterday then night time came and i was boosting around in 43 degree weather as soon as i hit idle it came back on.

So my question is can the weather being cold like 40 or lower out cause the MAF to read a lean code due to the amount of air it is seeing or is my IAT sensor. man im blown who wants my turbo kit
