Made a Video This Wkend

touche...

When you say
Hey I put the vid on putfile too
it can also be taken as you put it on putfile in addition to the original location on streetfire.

...simple misunderstanding no harm done

however...I forgot to mention that I copyrighted that video. You owe me money now. Whenever you get a chance that'd be great.(thumb)

Yeah I've ran into this at times. I've had a few different video cameras hooked up to my computer and for 2 of the 3 I had to use a cd (provided with the video camera) to install the basic software that is compatable with the camera. Once you install the software Windows Movie Maker should reconize the camera and you can load directly into your "collections".

I dont know if your computer does this, but when I plug in the new device it will ask me if there is a cd that I would like to install for the device and then prompts to user to put it in and so on. You may be able to acess this through the computer's control panel if it wont come up automatically.

Hope that helps

(yawn) (...more comments on the video?)

well, i don't have a wire that gets plugged in. i just take the cd out of the video camera and put it in the computer. then i have to upload the whole video on to the computer and then it's one file and i can watch it but i can't edit it.

Yeah I'm not too familiar with how that works. A lot of the programs that come with the video camera will only allow the user to load and watch, or directly burn to a cd.

My guess is look for a compatable USB/Firewire cord and see if you can get it straight to Windows Movie Maker that way through the capture feature. I'd honestly call a customer service number and ask them if I were you. Its always possible that the video format really isnt at all compatable with Windows Movie Maker. Good luck.

ya, the only bad thing is the camera i got is part of the new line and don't come with the option to use firewire. so i don't know what the hell to do. i guess i could call customer service or just go to a damn store and buy a editing program, but i have a feeling that can be a little expensive, but i don't know cuz i haven't checked. thanx for the help
