M-Spec Reorganization

Okay, I think we need to reorganize this thread and group. Yes, I do realize a cruise is needed, but I have been busy every weekend and probably will be until the end of the year! If a cruise is wanted, set one up guys I don't want to organize a cruise and not even be able to show up

As you know, Lang (our ex-pres) and Mike (current pres) will be moving soon, so what will happen to Mspec? Should we terminate the club when they move? Get more members other than Proteges? IDK? Input would be great

Also, any Mspec members planning on entering the August show? Seriously? I am going to make a huge side graphic (like the attachment) saying M-Spec. Anyone interested in running it as well?

Hey Chris, I really do not want to see this club defucnt this way; however, it seems everyone is moving on and/or getting busy with life, schedules totally clash but oh well. If it does defucnt...it would be nice to have one big, final cruise or something. Yes, planning is hard and often times humbug but it's so awesome when there's a nice crowd during roll out. Chris for president?

i'm still M-Spec yo!

I'm not entering the August show i know that.....i ain't got no funds to finish what is needed to even make it capable of entering a show. I'm trying for the December one along with some other friends of mine.

As for the graphics, i'll run an M-Spec one. Let me know how much, and if possible, i'd like to get a ghost color, so it's not too extravagant, since i'm not entering a show and all. Maybe like a really light grey color would look sick, or like an even brighter white. But yeah Chris, let me know.

I'll try and help out more with the club. We sold the shirt printing business so i don't print shirts anymore, but i can still work out a deal with the people who own it now. I can work on some new designs, and maybe get some shirts printed up, so it'll get everyone to want to come out for a cruise or BBQ or something, and score a shirt in the process. HOLLAH!

it would be cool to extend the club to other mazdas. maybe get some FD's in there (hint hint?) (evil) but i'm still down to support m-spec, even though i'm driving a different car at the moment. everyone i've met so far has been super nice, and it would be cool to meet up now and then on cruises or whatev.
i heard dave found an FD shell, and is going to be building up his rx-7. yeah ok, it's still too early for me, that's all i got.

my friend Mike with the stratos blue Mazda 3 is still game for cruises, and events. He still got his M-Spec sticker on his windshield. I won't ruin his surprise, but he's got some goodies now for his car, and it's looking pretty tight. He posts on the mazda 3 forums a lot, i'll see if he wants to do some recruiting or some sort. shooties.

Um, just so everyone knows... M-Spec was never a Protege only club. It has always been intended for all Mazdas. (I should know... me, Mike, Chris and a guy named Justin formed it up.) Regardless, I wish all the best for M-Spec. It would be a real shame to have it disapear just because a couple of members moved on.

yeah it was an open mazda group. yeah i don't want to see this club go down either. we should make like a center meeting place where we can have like weekly meets and dinner or something? before we used to do it at vineyard zippys. maybe we can make a bbq once everymonth? or a cruise once everymonth?

well i'm not sure if mike actually stepped down? i know he's parting out because he's getting more into surfing again.
k so it looks like we gotta do something before july 13th, that's when lang leaves and he'll be back again after august, so we should do something again then.
so far it looks like weekends are open for anytime for everyone except for me. it'll be hard for me to take off mornings at my other job, but i can take off nights at my night job for either saturday or sunday. i think more people would appreciate a saturday afternoon/evening just because they won't have to worry about work on sundays. so not sure what everyone wants to do. i'm going to try and make a poll or something with a few suggestions, not sure exactly how to make a poll on this forum but i'll try.
