LSD on a P5... worth it?

Without a turbo 100hp can hardly break the tires free unless being used for autox...not worth it.

World of a difference with power behind the wheels though :)

dont go OEM, go with MFactory, its pretty much same price as a welded torsen style and from what ive heard muchhh better

If you do a lot of winter driving it might be worth it. Although ever since I bought a proper set of tires I haven't been getting stuck anymore :)

the added traction in rain/snow is worth it alone to me. the extra traction when exiting a corner is a bonus. i am saving cash for one now. first "performance mod" i will do to my car

why go cheap on the LSD save the money and go Quaife Limited Slip Differential. no subsatute for the best.

Mfactory is the same type lsd as the Quaife for less than half the cost and also has a lifetime warranty like Quaife

sorry no subsatute for the best. my father and i run a performance shop and have delt with quaife quite a bit. true Mfactory is a good LSD but their is no way you can put Mfactory against a quaife LSD. i guess their are no more hardcore racer's out their anymore that can see spending 1200 on a quaife LSD. and yes 1200 in cludes the bolts.

Why would you not with a lifetime warranty and the same function and 1000hp rating.

I have never seen a quaife for much less than $1500 without the bolt kit

well you have to be a distruibitor. lol perks of co-owening a performance shop. you get the same warrenty with quaife

id rather save the ~1k bucks (i do not co own a distributor so i have to pay full price just like 99% of other MSP owners) and buy a larger turbo, better EMS, better gearset... (not saying i can get all that with 1k, its more of a this or that list) the list could go on.. the amount of difference between the two does not justify it in the least...
