Lowering springs

it definitely looks like you have the s*** reversed which would boggle my mind because i don't see how fitment would even be if you didn't do it right. just from the picture it looks like those rear springs are coiled to much for the rear.

wow. just wow. wouldt you compare the old springs to the new springs? The pic of the back spring looks like my front spring.

Ouch, is this a joke? Seriously, take those off before you wreck and kill yourself. You have them backwards. If for some reason that still doesn't fix your problem then your eBay power seller sent the wrong ones. Send them back, save up, and go with a more trustworty brand.

I was under my car this past weekend and my H&Rs in the back are nowhere near as coiled as those are.

I think you need to invest in a better set of springs. If they mislabeled F and R, who knows what other things slipped through the QC area.

maby your problem was going with some no-name BS spring brand like DROPZONE. fail

No name brand doesn't justify why it does not fit right. That is the stupidest comment I've ever heard. That's like saying buying a no name car like mazda is nothing compared to Audi or BMW> GAY

Lolololol. you're so nice.. but seriously..+1 on the dropzone..did you do any reviews? why are you posting here and not the regular 6 suspension forums?

This is the 6/MS6 suspension forums. Can you not read!

Those springs look too long to me. Too many coils. They're actually bowing. I've never seen springs for the 6 do that. Wrong springs perhaps?

No they are the right springs. Part # is SP75

R couldn't stand for right?

The rear springs should be of larger diameter than that. It seriously looks like you installed the front springs on the rear.

The 2 middle springs are for the front, the 2 other springs are for the rear.

There are four springs. 2 long ones that say R on them and 2 small ones that say F on them. I'm assuming the F means front and R means Rear.

I don't know man. Like i said, i just put them on. The springs say F and R on them.

I'm again going to point out that I think you have them flipped, regardless of how they're marked. Try swapping them front to rear and see if your car rides correctly.

For my 05 Mazda 6i, Not MS6

Ok..so i purchased a set of Dropzone lowering springs. Lowers F 1.7" & R 1.5". I started with the rear first. Took off my stock suspension springs and put the Dropzone in. Now the car seems higher than the stock did. Is there something i did wrong.

I'm really in the process of taking it to a local tire&suspension shop to do the whole install & alignment, but i don't really want to spend $260. Plus i spent over 4hours last night with friends trying to get this done and this is how it looks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Finally got to view the photos. There is no question that you have the WRONG springs for your car. Pull them off, send them back to wherever, get your money back and buy from a reputable vendor. Good Luck!

Was it me or was Lil_vicious trying to sound intellectual in his PURE FAIL spring install?

Dude those are not the right springs for your car, ebay owned you.

And to the rest who think dropzone springs are ok, THEY ARE NOT. THEY SUCK.

No need to beat up on the guy for a mistake.

I just checked PG, they have Megan racing springs for $120 for your car. Send those back and buy from a reputable vendor and you'll get the right parts without issue.

(squinty) just you. I think he installed the front on the rears and so forth like everyone else has already mentioned. It has been done before on other cars. Its what happens when you dont pay attention to details.

Well I will find out soon. This really sucks!

Yes i will try swapping them out the other way. If that's not the case, then I'm going to be pissed as crap

Yeah if that's the case. Then i might have to do that! I already tried to purchase those springs from them a while back, but ken said he was out of stock on those springs. So i just waited

Maybe this is what i did wrong. Like tunersteve was suggesting. I will try to swap them out and see if that works. If not then I might contact the vendor/website i bought them from.
