Lowering my P5: Tein vs. Eibach?

Thinking of lowering my '03 P5 and I have searched through the forum and found both pros and cons for both the Teins and Eibachs. Some say the Teins are great, others say they are more for "the look". Same for Eibachs... some love them, but I've also read that they sag.

Pricing aside, as I am looking at picking up a used set and can get each for around the same price, which would you pick based on overall performance and look? I have had H&Rs on my previous cars (Civic, Prelude) and they were great. (can't find a used set for cheap however).

Oh, and fyi, I will be using them with my stock shocks.

Thanks in advance.

I did a TON of research on this before I did mine...

I went with the Eibach's and Tokico blues... I think it's the perfect combo of drop and handling. They allowed me to do 17" wheels with 215/40's perfectly. About as wide as you can go without rolling, no scraping, and I think a great look!

In my p5 i had 215/45/17 without rubbing with tikico blue and h&R and it was a great ride...

I would go tien beacuse of the linear spring rate.

Ebachs are progressive- smoother ride but not as high performance.

been runnin the tiens stypes on stock struts for a little while and it rides good. soaks up bumps, not harsh at all. but when you get in the turns they lean too much. the spring rates are rather soft but its a trade off. ill run these until i pick up a full coil over set up

i plan on running a 205 45 17 soon how many inches is normal to drop or is it adjustable some how. 2003 P5. chuyler1 how much drop is yours thanks

stick with H&R's they are my personal favorite, and i ran them with the stock shocks for over 50,000kms(first)

Eibach! (first)

Tein S-Tech's all the way! To me the stance is better than the Eibach's and the fact that they're linear helps too. They're only slightly stiffer than stock but they are indeed STIFFER than the Eibach's according to the Spring Bible (in fact, they are the stiffest springs according to that, but I think the Megan Racing ones are stiffer - but let's not get into that now). Anyway, pics of my ride with Tein S-Tech's and MSP Racing Hart's here: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123643265.
