 :D

I went with Road Magnet Springs since the H&Rs are on backorder and I couldn't wait. Of all the cars I've done suspension work to, this MS3 fought back the most. Nothing went my way, I even scattered the Strut Bearing across my garage floor, I put it back together the best that I could but I still get a clunk during low speed turning and parking. I have to go to the dealership on monday to order a new one.

But the Handling and the stance of the car are up to my standards, I just need to order my tires and I'll be set for my trip to the Dragon and the next autocross event.

My Hotchkis Sway bars are also on, just didn't feel like crawling under the car to take a picture.

And when I say the car fought back, look at my hands

looks like a meat grinder got ahold of them.

congratulations man, looks great! I installed my springs this weekend and the car kicked our ass too!! It was like it was trying to tell us not to do it. Same thing happened with my right front strut and when we put it back together, we put the race on the bearings on upside down and it made that noise that your talking about...that clunk/clinging sound from the spring. You might wanna try what we did. Took it back apart, flipped that metal ring over where the bearings was, put more grease on it and I don't get a single noise from the suspension. It drove me NUTS after that happened, cause I went cruising that night and my car was creaking and moaning from that strut. BTW, I went with H&R springs...I got lucky last week and found a guy on ebay selling them for $231 shipped. Had them in stock and I got them from CA to VA in less than a week. But yours do look good, congrats!

did you have trouble with the fitting of the spring and strut in the front? because i did yesterday... and i cant use them.

nice! have you tried taking the center caps off those wheels? my buddy has them and when he took them off it looked much better, plus no one will know that they're budget haha

I'd try it, but I don't want to take it all apart and have it still be messed up. Taking these struts off the car is way more of a pain in the ass than any other car I've worked on.

Budget rims don't bother me, They're functional... lighter and wider than stock. I'm not one of those people who needs to have a name brand wheel. Just as long as they don't bend, warp, or rust I'm cool.

Looks pretty sharp, man. Sorry you had such a battle. Cool pics, too. Looks like a pretty feisty t-storm in the background.

Trust me I know....we re-did mine 4 times and nothing ever worked...took it back apart and did what I told you we did and it 100% fixed it. I really recommend doing that rather than going and buying a new piece. The noise only gets worse...it was driving me NUTS. Is it ONLY when you turn the wheel and when your riding through a parking lot? Cause thats how mine was. In a straight line, it didn't make the noise.

I picked up the part today for less than $30. Nothing to worry about. Gonna tear into it in a little bit. Yep, makes the noise going through the parking lot and during low speed turns. Going straight its fine. Sometimes when I go over a large bump or come off of a speed bump I get a clunk too.

Thanks, Just another afternoon thunderstorm here in SWFLA. It actually blew over in 30mins and the sun came back out.

honestly how is the ride quality? Does the car sit pretty even when looking at it from the side? Please pm me some detailed info im looking into getting these...Also does the car bounce alot?

They don't bounce anymore than any other lowered car I've owned, I've used JIC Coilovers, Kazera Springs, H&R Springs, and now these Roadmagnets. Feels like I'm driving a lowered car. Speed bumps suck, but oh well. The Handling, combined with the Hotchkis Sways, is amazing. It just turns, no sliding, understeer, no body roll, no wheel hop.

The Drop is even in the sense the car is the same level off the ground front to back. The rear has no wheel gap and is almost tucked, the front I can get 2 fingers in between the wheel and fender.

Is it just me or have I been noticing that when people drop their cars on Roadmagnets, the rear looks slightly lower?

lol. She will not let me take her picture, she actually punched me for posting that one of her.

oh and Car looks even better with my new tires

The Toe was pretty far out. I cannot wait for the first weekend in September. First Event to test out the new stuff.

How do you like the tires? That's the next set I plan on getting. It looks like you got 225/40s on there. What's the profile and offset of your rims?
