low speed clicking noise in right rear wheel of 2016 CX5

no, i used the lug wrench that came with the vehicle. i've never had an issue before. I just get them as tight as I can. I think I forgot to get them tighter once I dropped it down from the jack. i usually go around and check each wheel again after i'm done. must have gotten distracted and thought I did it. i'm going to check them again after 1k miles and see if they're still tight. the other ones were fine.

It'd be a good idea to invest in one. You stand a good chance of ruining your brake rotors by not torqueing your lugnuts

i actually have one. just never used it for that. i always get them as tight as i can but still able to get them off when i need to. sometimes when they use those air guns they get too tight and i need a breaker bar. is the torque setting in the manual?

I believe it's 80 to 100 ft/.lbs. I set mine at 85. I ALWAYS retorque them after going to a garage. Most are good that way, but some still just drive them on with an impact driver, and one garage actually made one wheel finger tight.....

yeah i've had that experience too as mentioned in my previous post. i guess some mechanics get distracted.

The tighting torque for lug nut is 80 ~ 108 ftlbf in specific order showed in page 7-13 of owner's manual. I use 94. Hope pbesong will listen to your suggestion and re-torque his lug nuts to save his rotors and even lug bolts.
