Hey guys... Fairdale here. 40th Anniversary RX8. I've been to one meet before but that was when I had my Red RX-8. Traded it in for the new Gray one.

I'll unfortunately be on vacation from the 17th to the 24th @_@. I was mainly curious to see if you guys had organized any meets lately because my buddy drove by Meijers on Preston Hwy (by 265) and saw 6+ RX-8s which is rare around here. I only know of 2 or 3 other RX-8 owners that are active on any forums that live in or near Louisville. I saw that there was a meet scheduled for the 30th of July but that's so far out. I do like that it's on a Saturday because Fridays and Saturdays are my only days off anymore.

just got back from deals gap this weekend, US 129 (THE DRAGON) was shut down due to rock sides, but we went anyhow and had some fun,, the good was their was NO ONE else, so we ran 128 which is like the gap, only faster with less turns, still VERY fun.. the new wheels did ok, they are heavy, big, and slowed the car some, but all and all things where good.

New to MAZDA forums, not to MAZDA's

Hello, I'm M. Ryan Patrick. Met Elias and some others at Hometown Buffet earlier today. I have a 2003.5 yellow MSP. I've had it since it was brand new. Purchased it in June of 2004. It was the last brand new one in the nation. Had it shipped from baton rouge. Left stocked and barely driven first 4-5 years. Then i finally started dumping money into it.

My modifications include:
-3" turbo back exhaust
-exhaust manifold
-cold air intake
-front mount intercooler
-intake manifold
-unichip
-turbo timer
-front motor mount
-rear motor mount
-short shifter
-oil pressure guage
-air/fuel ration guage
-boost/vaccuum guage
-billet aluminum wastegate actuator
-billet aluminum boost recirculation valve

as far as looks i have not done anything except window tint, stereo and flip down tv (for my sons)
if it is not horsepower related, i pretty much haven't given it much thought. I did forget to leave out cross drilled slotted rotors.
Only thing cosmetically i really want to do is get a upper rear window wing that you see on some wrx's

Moving down to Louisville

Hey guys, I just got an internship over at pillsbury in New Albany and I'll be down from michigan and living in Louisville for the summer. Im riding a pretty stock p5 right now but as soon as these paychecks start coming in I'm going to do some work. I don't know anyone in the area and figured the meets will be a good way to get to know people in the area. keep the events coming and i hope i can make it to some.

In town working, only saw one Mazda so far. So didn't think any were around that area.

Reading up on the page... My hotel is right next to a Home Town Buffet. There is a bunch of hotels around here by this exit.
