Finally put tires on the RX-8 wheels I bought from ForceFed back in the fall. I knew the RX-8 wheels were lighter than the stockers, and the tires I bought were listed at 21 pounds each, about 3 pounds less than most other UHP summer tires. Just for comparison I decided to weigh each combo:
Stock MS6 (18X7) running Kumho Ecsta ASX 225/40R18-----51 lbs.
OEM RX-8 (18X8) running General Exclaim UHP 225/40R18---44 lbs.

Sorry no pics yet, it started raining as soon as I finished switching them out. But we have a spring clean and wrench meet this Saturday, so I'll post up then.
Edit: here's some pics, putting the CAI back on.

I'm going to be running the same set of tiires on my Work Emotion CR KAI's for the same reason ... about 3 pounds less per tire than others in the size range. Plus, the reviews and the price dont hurt!

Let us know how they perform

i run the same setup now. i was looking to switch to bridgestone re760 sports. only thing holding me back is their weight. they are like 27 lbs each for the 235/40/18
