how the hell do you have that many miiles on it
your saying he has alot or a little? most of the guys around here are well above 30k miles. i only have 11k miles though!!! and if i sold mine for 15k stock.......id make a profit!

i want 11000 for mine with 38K...buy yea i'd say 15k is just a tad to much. it's hard enough to find someone interested. but then to ask that much for it....good luck man

Ouch, so how is the value doing on these cars? I traded my 03 in for $12.5k when it was 3 months old with 9k miles on it- that was the best any dealer offered! Are they kind of doing better now than in the beginning?
Joe

No too bad, they resold mine for $16,500- and like I said, that was in 03. So if they are holding around $15k, they are doing better now that they are all off the dealers lots. Back then, every Mazda dealer they called to get pricing basically said "we have 6 of them here, take your pick- no ones buying them". I guess now that they are all in the publics hands, pricing would do better. Good to hear.

On a similar note- my damn Crossfire is worthless since the dealers still have 04's on their lots all over the place. Hopefully once they are gone (if ever!), the price will go back up a bit!!

Dealers still have 04's that have never been titled?!?!? Ford, Chevy and D-C screwed their customers with the Employee price thing. Resale values plummeted on any car that discount was applied to. I had a guy that was $17,000 buried in his '05 GMC 1500 Silverado.

Yup- hell, just check ebay- there are usually some there. The local dealer had two as of June, but we bought both of them lol. My wife always wanted one and after driving hers, I liked it. We got them for what we thought were killer deals at the time, but resale really sucks on them, so we're going to be stuck with them for a while!

Tell me about it with the employee pricing- I got my 05 Ram 1500 Hemi for ~$25k with a $31,xxx sticker- what about the poor SOB that bought one two weeks earlier for $31k? He's ******. Funny, the sales man was like "just wait until employee pricing is over, then your truck will be worth even more- hell you could probably make money on it" lol- yeah right- when it was over, then they were "clearing out the 05's to make room for 06" and the price was the same or even lower than what I paid anyway.... Oh well. I have always said the domestic guys ***** their cars out and it kills resale. Look at the Jetta even- never see rebates or anything on them and they still sell AND hold value pretty well.

You'll rarely, if ever see rebates on German makes. That's why I can sell a lease on a $28,000 Passat for about the same as a 4cyl Mazda6 w/ sport package that costs $21,000 after rebates.
