Shane is right, lower compression is more of a safeguard agains detonation than a power adder. 10psi on 9.1 will be more powerful than 10psi on 8.5:1

The more boost you can run without detonation, the more power you will make ON PUMP GAS. (not shouting, just emphasizing)

Wow, those are some very impressive numbers. What type of dyno was that on? I think that is the highest dyno I have seen for the mods you have.

it was on a dyno jet... BUT!! the unichip isnt tuned yet and i had a manuel boost conroller set at only 10-11 psi

Yeah that was on the stock turbo and I had a bone stock motor, but now I got a fully bulit motor now. Turns out the wastegate went out.


Sure anytime..Im the only mazdaspeed protege ( well I havent ran into anyone yet) out here so Im a loner so itll be nice to talk to people with the same ride.
