230-250
agreed. 250+ and you really need to know what you are doing and need to pay extra close attention to everything.
230-250
I like your positive thinking but I don't know how possible that would be. I put down 206 Hp and 210 TQ in November at 9 PSI with these mods: DSM AFC, GHL TB (with ho-flo cat), Hiboost FMIC, AEM CAI. If I was properely tuned the hp number should be around 215. I just don't see 200 WHP out of 6.5 to 7 psi. It mught just be my car though. The dyno was on a dyno dynamics dyno. I ran 185 HP and they dynojet correct up only 11.5 % so maybe it would render higher if I were to run on a real dynojet dyno or if my exhaust didn't have the high flow cat. But good luck though. I hope you do get those numbers.low_psi said:I'm hoping for 200whp w/ just TBE, FMIC, tuned AFC and a 626 intake manifold. You shouldn't have to increase boost over stock to see 200whp IMO.

Who knows but every car is different. Just start doing stuff then head to the dyno. I'm not depressed, my car feels great.GhostMercury said:dam that is depressing. but one thing you didnt mention was the PG intake and that should bump us up to just above 200

He runs a upgraded side mount, hardpipes, half injen CAI, vibrant exhaust and the ATP wastegate and he is on my but ALL the time. You should be able to do that easy with those 10 PSI "TUNED". You still risk it though cause you are on stock internals. I play it safe and stick to 5.8 PSI.![]()

orng1 said:What is your current set up, You have a FMIC and a BOV right? 200whp is reliable and reasonable in this car, 300whp your going to need a forged motor and a stand alone to start of with. 230-250 is a good reliable goal for these cars, but yeah I know I have a big goal too.
definately appreciate Jcell and that's definately true.(glare)JCell said:by that you mean next to you, right? he(Deuce) actually stays ahead on 8psi untuned if he gets the drop or if it's from a dig.....
just trying to promote the use of correct information on the forum(RTM)

GhostMercury said:i already have a stage colder plugs. and as for the gauges i like the stewart warner ones cause they are the same color as our gauges and match almost perfect. i am going to get a 3 gauge pillar with a boost, oil temp, digital tach gauge with shift light for fun and then a wideband under my radio
Kansei said:i'd say oil pressure and egt are more important than a fun tach or oil temp
oh if you want a sweet fitting wideband for our cars, the NGK/NTK Powerdex AFX wideband fits almost snug in the spot where the ashtray goes.. I'm either going to cut a big hole in the ashtray, basically carving out the entire thing because it's that close to being a perfect fit, or just make a new piece out of plastic or something to make it snug.
