New to the forum and I'm looking for a little help locating a car relatively close to the Southeast Texas area, Id, prefer a 06 Speed6 with less than 30k miles in white, black, or silver. If anyone knows where I may be able to find one please let me know, much appreciated and on a side note there are some amazing cars on this forum, keep up the good work

Good Luck

I just got a dark cherry 06 MS6 and I live in PA. You shouldn't be paying more than 15,000 for an MS6 w/ 30K miles on it or else move on.

Be prepared to go through great lengths for a used, good, MS6. I got mine from Ohio.

no you didnt, you got BLACK Cherry ;) dark cherry wasn't offered on the speed6.

My advise to you is to just keep checking autotrader and cars.com. But like the people above me said these cars are kinda rare and to find one at a decent price with decent miles is pretty difficult.

So far i've looked at 4 speed6's. I live in maryland and i went to new york, new jersey, north carolina, and virginia looking at these cars. Im going up to PA today to look at anouther one.

Good luck on your search!

Yea I found a good one that was only about 2 hours away, they were asking 18k for and it had less than 20k miles on but it sold in 2 days before I could get off work and school to go pick it up. All the ones I've seen for sale are between 18 and 22k asking price and in Austin which is a 5 hour drive which I may end up having to take. But thanks for the advice guys and I'll keep looking, are there any problem areas I should look at hard on these cars when I actually find one lol. I'm not used to modern cars at all.

^^ Read up as much as you can about these cars before you go to look at one. Check things out like rear diff bolts loose/broken, broken rear diff mount, broken or torn rear axle boots, front diff leaking, smoke out of the exhaust after warm up or while driving, noisey chain tensioner, one touch down window buttons not working. Thats all common problems i've noticed while reading these forums.

Theres alot of good information about these cars on here and some other ms6 forums.

Yea I saw that white one and was really thinking hard about it, just this is going to be my first actully kinda new car and its got to last me a while and thats why the miles need to stay kinda low, I graduate college in a few months and have no idea where I may end up moving to for work, so the less miles the better because chances are I'll put alot on this car. Thanks for the input on the problems though I'll be sure and search whichever car top to bottom before I buy it.
