Looking to buy a protege5

Hey all, this is my first post here. I've owned a 1990 miata for several years now. Love the car but its getting a little impractical. I need to transport my kayak, and bike, and friends, and guitars and amps now. I'm a college grad working for a startup so protege5 is obviously one of the best hatchback choices for me to get since it's cheaper than a mazda3 and I can probably do most of the work myself.

Anyway, I'm selling my miata for about $5500, looking to get a nice protege5 that will last quite a while.

My ideal:

2002-2003
White, 5 speed
black leather interior
80k miles
No accidents
Maintenance done

Was hoping the local Georgia Club could help me out in finding one. Much rather buy from an enthusiast.

Howdy! Nice to see another georgian. If you look for p5's be careful about those found in FL, at least from the crappy dealers. All their cars either have rust or some soft of damage. You can get a very nice p5 for your budget as well.

Most folks tend to hold onto their P5s...once you have one, you can't help but love it! They do show up on Autotrader....

That Miata is gorgeous. Love that color! Welcome to this little slice of our interwebz. If I wasn't in the market of a second home, I'd seriously be contemplating scooping that Miata up. Such a rare gem to find one in such good (non-drifted) condition.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm still looking for one. I'm a little lax on my necessities. I still want white, but doesn't need to be leather or low miles as long as its good condition and maintenance is there. Needs a sunroof though. Let me know if you find one!

You should get a MSP, not a hatch but they are fun. I know where one is....
