Looking for some differing opinions on my next mod

Don't want a top mount, I've done a lot of research and talked to a lot of people and have decided to go the front mount route. But a test pipe is looking like it's going to be a winner here soon :)

dude and also JCSspeed has 2 of them ins tock too i belive. i love my cobb, fit, finish, everything. great quality
 
If my stereo even sounded as good as the 2007/2008 models I would be very happy, but the 2008.5 just isn't doing it for me.

Did you have your stereo swapped out? Pretty much all the 08.5 have an issue where there is almost no bass and the volume is all kinds of out of whack.
 
Order of choices: #1, #1, #1 and #1. Add one step colder plugs.

If power is your goal, a 3 inch DP/RP into the stock CBE is the best power gain for the dollar spent. Go catless if your state alows, catted (single high flow cat), if you must. With a good intake this really turns the engine on from third gear on up. Highway acceleration and quarter mile trap speeds are nothing short of amazing.

No I have the original in, I'm calling Mazda this week about getting a new one.

Is adding step colder plugs important if I am doing the DP/RP?
 
Thanks 240ka, I'll keep that all in mind. PG has the internals for sale, so I'm gonna get them from there (if needed). As soon as I get the AP I'm gonna do a bunch of logging and decide where to go from there (most likely DP/RP/FP).

there has been failures with PGs.

go with the new KMD V2's. they have been test for a while now over in the VW community
