Looking for pics of Dropped MS6's & what springs were used!

Found 'em. V6/MS6 springs, same as Eibach.

I know there are a lot of MS parts, but most of those are for the regular model.

Are you looking at the "Sport Spring Kit 3.0L Sedan - MAZDASPEED6 (2003 - 2008)"?

In the summary it says Mazda6 or MazdaSpeed6, but then the description says Mazda6 V6 only. *shrug*

I highly recommend the RPM street springs, they feel great and still give me good enough clearance on bumps and driveways... only scrapped a couple times when I haven't been paying attention. With the Eibach sports you'll need to be a little more mindful of bumps and such. The RPM's are linear.

So Linear = Stiff 100% of the time

Progressive = Start soft for the first 20%(i'm making this number up, i'm not really sure where the point is) then get stiffer the more they compress

Hope that makes some sense to somebody out there besides me?

how much? and u got any pics? or links?

I have the Mazdaspeed springs and their ok. If you got weight in the back seat or trunk they tend to sag. As far as ride or comfort they are ok. They get the job done as far as giving your car a lower stance but I dont think they preform as well as they should. I'll be needing to get new shocks/struts soon, so I'll also be upgrading the springs or just go all out and get coil overs.. not for atleast another 6-8 months though.

On 20"s with no weight (silver wheels) on 18"s with wieight (black wheels)

The 20's look sick! I bet it rides a lil rough though.

Actually not as bad as you would think. Ofcourse its not the same as stock or with 18's but it wasn't too bad...the worst part was just not being able to take hard turns cause of the rubbing in the rear. But they cleared the front with no rubbing whats so ever. I do miss the way it looked.

Yes I know I'm late but.........

I am actually running Megan's racing springs on the car and I have weight (box of 2 12" subs and amp) in the rear... and I don't have any rubbing issues [fenders not rolled yet]

I'm not exactly doing Auto-X or anything, but they get the job done as far as taking on ramps at 60-80 mph. (not the tight circle ones, those are more like 40, lol)

I'm happy with them, but will eventually get H&R Coilovers [again] :(

1st pic was with 225/40/18 tires, 2nd pic is with 235/40/18 tires on the car, currently (yes, subs are in car in both pics)

Looks good, Bro. I have to say that I really do like the stock wheels on the MS6. I can understand why people get something different, but I think I may keep mine stock. I have to ask... why replace the fuel door though?

Damn it I need to make something in my sig, ROFL..... I didn't replace the fuel door.... as you may or may not know that was actually an optional accessory that one could get for the speed6, mine happened to already have it when I bought it on the lot.

I did buy an OEM replacement fuel door, for like $10... but when I asked the body shop at Mazda how much to color match it.... they told me $80 bucks, and I said to eat s***, (lol2)

I actually now have a better hook up... GF's sister's husband has a body shop... he's going to be fixing up some damage on my passenger side for a real good deal so I'm going to throw in the fuel door and ask him to paint it so I can install it, I'm not fond of the chrome door either.... actually, I'm not really a fond of any chrome, period.... trim, gas door, or wheels. (shrug)

But thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it!!! (thumb)

As for the wheels... I do like the stock wheels, they look great in my avatar, but different in a full size pic, lol... but I really like a bronze or gold wheel to offset the Black Cherry Mica paint... and I kind of want something with a slight lip on it, so I am considering changing mine.

I like having something with a lip on it also, except when it comes time to really scrub. Just seems like it doubles the work of scrubbing the wheels. You'll have to post more pics when you hook up some new rims!

Yeah after I find a rim I like, (lol2) I've been looking at so many... but I still haven't seen some that just scream "SEX" to me.... Well actually, there was one.... this VOLK wheel that I saw... but I don't exactly feel too ecstatic about spending $3,000+ on a set of wheels.

MS6 springs/struts,shocks

i was wondering about the MS6 struts/springs. When i went to parts shop at the dealer I asked about them and they have a MS6 specific springs/struts, if you go to Mazda and u ask they "should" print you off a sheet of available performance parts that Mazda carries for the MS6 (not gonna lie.. they are not cheap in price haha)

The only problem with that is that I've noticed a lot of the "accessories" they carry, like the Mazdaspeed springs.... aren't really made for the Mazdaspeed6 itself... since it weighs more than the i4 and v6 models (I would attribute this largely in part to the added AWD system, amongst other things)

H&Rs are on order, I'll post some detailed pics of before & after heights once they get here.
