Looking for front brake pads for my MSP Protege

Just like it says and I imagine this question has been asked lots of times. Do any of you have a preference for brake pads? I am all stock and am looking for a good set of replacement pads. If anything I would like to buy something that is at least better than the original stock ones. Thanks.

Do you have a part number for the Hawk hps? Also, Are our front calipers the same as any other 03 protege or are they like the Mazda 6 ones.

Yes, I also recommend Hawk HPS as they kick ass. Much better grip than any of the local autoparts store top brands.

I use HPS as well. I like them. However, next replacement, I'll get the HP Plus. They are a bit more track-friendly, which is where I'm planning on spending some time.

I have HPS front and rear and the fronts are noisy 60% of the time. I bed the pads properly when I installed them and cut all the rotors. They were noisy when I had them on my Cobra years ago. I liked the Bendix ceramic pads I had before they were quiet and didn't give off a lot of dust.
