Looking for a decent downpipe

i hear the POPE downpipes were nice - but they seem to have shut down. Looking for something decent and 3" if possible - any suggestions?

You won't find a 3" anywhere, but CorkSport and Speed Circuit sell a 2.5". Those are the only ones still available for purchase.

wow didnt even notice speed circuit had a downpipe, and for 250 only? might have to be one of my first purchases when i get a msp.
Corksports price is pretty high, 400 bucks.
Any reason you should get that over the speed circuit? seems like the speed circuit is perfect, has extra wideband bung, and a wastegate vent tube that the CS doesnt.
also this only replaces the S pipe right? not the J pipe? or does it replace that too?

Also curious about the speed circuit one...How is the dump tube for the external wastegate when we have internally gated turbos?

Hey. The speed circuit DP is for a T3 turbo. It won't fit the stock MSP GT2554 turbo

Yeah, but you better call to verify they actually have them. Back in later August/early September they only had 4 I think with no plans of making more from the way they talked.

I know a guy in Cincinnati who makes them....never seen one but he had a full 3" exhaust turbo back on CL and I called about it but it was sold but he said he made DP, full exaust....I will try and find him again to see if he still does it and see if I can get some pics of his work

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's Pope, he made a 3" DP and 3" midpipes but he's out of the game.

So yes, the CS pipe is the only stock replacement left.

I was able to find a brand new never installed POPE downpipe from one of the members here. Looking forward to it.

Yes, CS is the only stock replacement option left. You may be able to find a 3" PEP on the forums but there were only about 20-30 made in total so the chances of one popping up are pretty low.

And Tom (Pope) decided to abandon the manufacturing scene earlier this year. I think he had another kid and just wasn't able to dedicate enough time towards his job and family while making parts for us, so he finished up the remaining orders and peaced out. He has been on and off the forums the past couple months but it doesn't sound like he plans on making any more parts anytime soon. At least nothing large scale, he may still be taking custom orders.. but I kinda doubt it since the only way it's worth it for him is to make stuff in bulk.

i had a 2.5in. turbo back downpipe made for 100$ at a local shop and its pretty sick.custom headers with external wasteguate built for 600. all for the 28rs. so 700$ for a whole set up is pretty reasonable. this might be a good option for you.
