how can fiber glass be strong? I thought they just shatter to pieces when they break? and I guess this hood doesn't absorb anything on impact right? but our stock ones and Carbon Fiber ones have a skeleton under neath right?

Heh, racing hood. What makes it a "racing" hood? All this stuff on Ebay and everywhere else these days. Racing carbon fiber pedals, racing blue headlights, racing washer nozzles, reclinable 'racing' seats (that weigh a ton), heh. Don't get me started on the "Euro" stuff.

All in all, it's not a bad hood, but I'd never buy it.
