Locking the Info button to one item?

Is there a way to lock the info button so that it always only displays miles to empty on the display?

I was thinking of ways to get rid of the clock so that if I did change the headunit with an aftermarket I wouldnt have to worry about adjusting the clock in the future.

My 2007 CX-9 Doesn't have miles to empty...

If it makes you feel better ... 2008 models don't have that either...
I added a ScanGaugeII-X for that (and other functions)

well im from canada, and its actually kilometers to empty. the way it is on my 09 is that when i press info i get avg consumption, current fuel consumption fuel to empty and avg speed.and the clock also displays there once i press the clock button. so ideally i wanted to figure out how to lock it just on the fuel to empty but it reverts to clock every time it starts.

They must have changed something in the 2010 because I always leave mine of current fuel consumption and whenever I start up, it always on that, It never reverts back to the clock.

Yep me too, 2010 (both on my Mz6 and CX-9) sticks to the last setting you choose with the info button. I leave mine in avg fuel consumption mode.
