location of speed sensor wire

Strip back the wire and put solder on it so it is stiff, then slide it in... I do this all the time when doing alarms and such.

Man, that is a great tip when working with those tiny pins, why didn't I think of that???(huh)

When I did this to my Mazda5 to install the speed sensor wire pin for the Nav, the wire would bend before the pin was inserted completely, and was very frustrating.

Now, I tried to connect a speed sensor wire for my turbo timer to this depopulated connector. I still was not able to pick up anything. What is the difference between signal used for audio navigation that seems to be working for people & a turbo timer signal?
