Location for Tweeters?

Has anyone found a good location for tweeters or a good cover piece? I am installing tweeters from the Infinity Kappa 680.9CS and I need a good location. If anything I will cut a hole in the door above the door handles to install them. They are huge.

i molded the tweeters from my polk component set into the sail panels, but if the infinitys are that big, you'll have a clearance problem behind the panel.

Heck I am planning to put them in the door and I still don't know if they will fit depth wise. I wish I could put them on a sail panel but that would look too funky.

I mounted my tweeters in the sail pod and aimed them directly at the driver. I really did not like the way it sounded, the time delay was really noticeable.

What I'm thinking about now is to use the stock door location for the woofer and mount the tweeter in a kick panel pod. I realize a kick panel pod for both the tweeter and woofer would be ideal, but I feel like it will take too much room.

Can anyone comment on this type of install? Woofer in the door and tweeter mounted just in front of the woofer in the kick panel and aimed at the driver.

I mounted mine above the speaker by 6 inches or so. I have pictures of it but they are on my camera to which I don't know where the cable is currently. Works pretty good too. Easy install.

put it on top of the dash near the pillar and aim it at the rear view mirror...:)

Here is a picture of where I put my tweeters and my setup in the back.
