Location for guages

I want a few guages but I don't want them on the pillar or in the center on top of the cd player (if you get what I'm saying). So I was thinking about under the cd player...Is that possible?, and has anyone done it yet? Here is a quick paint version of what I'm talking about (don't have photoshop). I would be putting in my alpine deck so there might be a little more room.

I think this is the section that it would go under, if not Mods can move it. Thanks

that is going to be a little to tight, gauges are prolly to big, what you can do is put a couple left of cig lighter

It might be able to squeeze in the 2 1/16'' but that would probably leave only 1/16'' left for room above and below. I was thinking that, but would love a place for 3

at least on the speed3 there are 2 knobs in there. would you relocated them, or try and cram 2 gauges between them??

I really just want a boost and a/f, but dont like the above cd player spot either. at the same time, a-pillar gauges would get my car jacked cause cars are always broken into where I work... but I want to be able to see boost out of the corner of my eye. Looks like I'm sticking to velcro and my dashhawk for now.....

I'm fairly certain there is not enough room behind that panel for a gauge.
