Hey i got a 2004 mazda3 axela and i want to replace the spark plugs and wires. I can't find the wires to the spark plugs. Can someone just help me out as to were they're located at. I know how to change them just can't find them. lol the only reason I ask is I'm used to seeing those thick rubber wires connecting to your spark plugs. I see 4 plastic caps on top of the header but they've only got like 3 small wires connecting to each one. Are those it? Also would like to change fuel filter wondering were abouts that is. What type of fuel filter would be good to use and a really good brand of spark plugs and wires?

Thank you, dan

Our car comes with NGK Iridiums stock. Use those, they will give you good results. The plugs are located under the coil packs on top of the engine, there are no plug wires to change.

oh alright see now that I didnt know. What about the fuel filter, would you happen to know were that would be located at? Cuz see here's what I'm trying to do just give it a good tune-up. Spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter. Done think I missesd anything. If I did let me know. Would a K&N boxd air filter waste more gas or would it be just the same as the stock one? Thanks again.

do some searches man, all this has been covered tenfold.

the fuel filter is usually located somewhere near the fuel tank. get underneath your car, and look under the rear bumper.
