(Located in GA) Metallic36's 2003.5 Titanium MSP - Runs Great & Built!

OFFERING FOR SALE..

Everything is complete on my car, no issues, no fuel cut.The rear bumper has a scrape on one side that has been touched up with OEM paint, there are a couple small dings but nothing major. Mechanically it runs great, idles nicely, a/f ratios are always great, and when you ask for boost, it gives it to you!!

NEW A/C BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR INSTALLED on July 17th, and A/C Professionally Recharged on the 13th.

I have a folder containing the invoices for the maintenance/repairs that have been completed for this car. It has a new water pump and thermostat also. It was last at Japanese Motor Works in Athens, GA, where they fixed the remaining issues, and they were awesome!

This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically but to be driven! Production # 449. VIN: JM1BJ227130647068

PRICE: $10,900 OBO. Comes with it's car cover, and several misc. goodies that have not yet been installed

Rebuilt engine - .20 overbore, CP pistons, K1 rods, has 8.5:1 compression ratio. New engine has approx. 2500 miles on it. Chassis has 83,611 miles.

Rebuilt transmission - replaced internals with new OEM, still under 1-yr warranty. Has about 1500 miles on it. Welded LSD. Redline MT-90. Has lightened flywheel, Stage 1 clutch. (Could use the Stage 3+ clutch if you're wanting to get the most out of it)

New cylinder head - new valves, etc. Has approx 500 miles on it.

New PPG windshield installed on 6/22/09

Hang on a little longer til you've done your due dilligence. You've been too regular a contributor here (and too nice a presence) to see you bail outta here. Besides, you've got way too much of yourself invested in that MSP by now!

Yeah, the city council meeting is in April so hopefully something positive will come out of it. If anything I figure I can keep my car covered and take it out only on nice days when the road is okay. I already bought a truck, got a good deal, so that will do well for me when I need 4 wheel drive to be able to get out if it gets muddy again.

I know you want to keep it, I know others want you to keep, hell, I want you to keep it. However, only you know your situation.

I agree with the masses that you should fight the legal system and keep the car until you find out the details. I also know that it's the rainy season in GA and you'll have a hell of a time getting out. I wish I could help my neighbor out here but I can't.

I'm lucky I live in a finished neighbor hood I suppose. If it wasn't, I would trudge my way out daily in the spicy! Or do an AWD conversion... lol

Yeah, I haven't gotten to drive my car in two weeks now, and we haven't gotten mail in four days. Anywayz, I will probably sell the car if someone is seriously interested. I haven't had any interest yet, so I'm encouraging it! I have a horse and since getting my truck (that can also pull the horse trailer) my interests have moved more towards the idea of wanting to show my horse at horse shows and getting more involved with that. I've had my fun with the car, it's completely built now, so there isn't really anything left to do on it - to the point where there are occasional partouts on here and I go through the list and say "well crap, I have all that". I know that sounds bad, but I have to keep myself busy somehow or I get bored LOL. So yes, if there is anyone out there that is interested in my car, please let me know. I am open to "owner financing" and payments, or whatever. Just pm me and I'll work with you.

This is where I differ from most people. I love this car. I want it to be completely modded and be a little street sleeper. If I had all the crap done to it that I wish I could, then I'd feel like I just begun. So many people I see on here build their cars then say, "Ok time to sell." Why? You just got done with it!

Good luck with it all. Horses are very cool animals. If I had a horse, I'd tie the car to the horse and get some funny pics done. But I don't.

threaten to sue, if you havent gotten mail in four days then you can claim that this problem can affect your liberty (right and ability to not be in collections due to unpaid bills resulting from the lack of action on the part of the city or of the property owner to provide a reasonable road surface on which to travel,try to get the post office involved)

LOL nah, the RX-8 is my husband's and there's no way I can talk him out of that He just got it, and because of our road he's only had the chance to drive it twice in two weeks since he got it.
