well, if this is something like a riding mower size, (if you have a tow b****) you can rent a trailer.
 
Thankfully that is an item I will never own..... :)

You need a trailer hitch for hauling things like that, do you have a Harbor Freight near you, they sell inexpensive aluminum ramps. I've seen ramps for ATV's at our local Walmat as well. Is it too heavy for 2 people to lift?
 
Sounds like your rear bumper will be toast after this little exercise!
 
I might just have the mobile maintenance guy come over and check it out. It's not something I would need more than once every two years, so not worth the investment to get a trailer.
 
Still need to get a 180 lb into the bed, I'll just have the mobile maintenance guys fix er up.
