little ticking noise while under boost in high rpms...

Have any of you guys heard a very low little ticking kind of pinging noise while your stepping on in the high RPM's under boost? The sound is kinda like the same noise you hear when you turn off your car and you can still hear your exhaust cooling down going ping..ping....has anyone heard this noise? anyone know what it is?

you are using 92 plus octane or premium fuel I hope? Detonation is a distinct tapping noise which can sometimes be hard to distinguish to pinging when you run a lower octane fuel.

Back down the boost immediately. Its probably detonation.

how can it be its only 10 psi and I'm still pre flash...

It could be a number of things. Turn down the boost and leave it down until you know for sure what it is. Maybe the gas you got is was just crappy.

i have a similar noise and im not boosted. it started when i got colder plugs. hmm.
