LinuxRacr's Haltech E6X Log..

if that's right, that certainly isn't much. Is that for one injector or all four?

Alter your water temp correction... then you should be ok.

Did this yesterday, and my car runs much better, and is way more responsive without the overly richness!! The car is even faster!!

Great news Linux, glad to hear things are working out for you on your car.

Just curious have you messed with the hex screw in the IAC valve at all to adjust your idle up down a little bit?

Never play with either of the HEX screws in the idle control motor or the stop screw (blue). If you want to play, do it with the By pass screw.(red)

Well, I'm sitting at McDonalds here in Hillsburro, TX dealing with another cold start issue. I am on my way to visit my Grandmother, and have been here for 3 hours. It has been raining on and off. My daugher is having a blast though in the playland. The only difference of today is that it is raining, and a little warmer than usual. I pulled the plugs and they were a little wet, so I crank-dried the cylinders, and put the plugs back in. When I tried to start it up again, it caught like it was fixing to start, but then it didn't, and kept turning over on subsequent tries. Just finished charging up my laptop, and finding this open wifi network, so it's time to go try again. Wish me luck.

For those who think I am complaining, just know that I am documenting my experiences. This is a log thread.

Right after I posted the post above, I went out to the car, pulled the fuses from my E6X, and cranked it (per Steve Kan who I had just talked to). I put the fuses back in, and started it right up. I went to Waco to visit family. My car started everytime it needed to after that. On the highway the E6X is a dream. It pulls so hard! I must say that Corky designed a great intercooler. Even though most of it is behind the bumper, I have been running 10 PSI without ping (and retarded timing). Getting in lane-cahnge battles with people who didn't want to let me over, the look on thier face when they couldn't out pace me...priceless...:D

have you replaced the internals?

Yes. I have Pauter Forged Rods, and JE Forged Pistons. I really want to hook my J&S Safeguard back up.. Just need to make time.

Anywhere from 9-12 advance.
have you tried advancing it a little? maybe you are too retarded to start with the amount of fuel you are having to dump.
