Line 304 Undetermined String Constant (error)

anyone getting this error or something close to it while surfing or responding on the forum? i keep getting it and its getting on my damn nerves.

what is it exactly you're doing when it happens? reading? replying? user cp? etc.

still haven't had any probs yet.. sounds like you are getting javascript errors on your end.. what web browser are you using?

what version of IE, and do you have anything running to stop any java or javascript functions (e.g., pop-up blocks, etc).. or are you letting IE run all javascript.

i'm running IE 6.0.2800.1106 .. no pop-up blockers.. and in tools -> options -> security for internet, i'm set on medium at the default levels (never changed any, but you can reset it just to be sure).

only difference between my setup and yours is i am running free surfer.

i'm not familiar with Free Surfer.. is there a way you can temporarily disable it and surf the forums and see if your problem goes away?

I am on Cable and I get those ******* errors too.. I wasnt sure if it was a forum issue or my PC...

sorry guys, i'm out of ideas.. i'm on a cable modem as well.. i've never gotten any errors.. did this just start happening since the forum upgrade? weird..

i did a search on google for "Undetermined String Constant" and all i come up with are java/javascript errors.. which Java & Javascript run on your local machine not on the webserver, so it would point to something on your machine/browser.
