Alright ... here ya go ... Day 11 : Friday, March 26, 2004 ... lots of wetsanding and buffing. The car is now 99.9% completed. All we are waiting on is the shop to drop by to reinstall the glass.

The M3 test is when you've spend enough money that you could have bought a BMW of the same year instead. The M3 test is used because pretty much anyone can agree whatever you do to your car it's not going to be as nice as a BMW M3 for the same ammount of money.

Id rather have a hooked up car than a stock M3. Plus with the M you need all the cash at once. This is a buildup of mods

I think I would have to say that I too would rather have a hooked up car then a stock M3. My reason being I built my car and the M3 came that way. We had a guy come in a few weeks ago wanting to trade his M3 for our M5. I've driven the M5 and I was not at all impressed.
There is just this sense of satisfaction I get when I look at my car because I know I made it what it is today.
