I'm trying to find some bulbs for my headlights on my 02 P5. I was wanted something bright with a blue like tint that arn't to expensive, and come with a warranty too. I bought some cool blue sylvias about a month ago and they burned out on me already :-(. Plus they really didn't have any blue tint to them at all. Anyone have any suggestions.

That is because they are crappy bulbs with blue paint on them. What is wrong with the stock bulbs?

If we truly have the best headlights on the market, whay are people modding them?? Those blue bulbs on every car I have seen are worthless. They are actually DIMMER than stock bulbs.

I pulled up next to a Hinda Element (on the interstate doing 65) who had those cheap ass bulbs and I turned off my lights and it was dark as hell, cut mine back on and it was like 2 spot lights. No reason to buy cheap replacements or even to mess with the stock ones imo.

my bulbs are a s*** load brighter then the stock ones, i know because i had one stock one in and one aftermarket one and the aftermarket one dominated the stock one..... i forget what they are right now but i will look when i get home .... they have a blue tint to them as well and if you look at the headlight housing when they are on the housing is blue.... plus they are not that expensive at all and last for a while.... i am on my second set in 2 yrs......

All of my headlamps and foglamps are Xeon bulbs, the main problem I have is that the Driver side lowbeam keeps burning bulbs left and right - getting to be expensive. And this isn't the first time i've heard of people having this problem. The only thing is that I don't want to go back to using the stock bulbs (which I kept just in case), I really want the Xeon bulbs. There is only one thing I notice, and that is the black two prong connector that the bulb plugs into - it has burn marks on the terminals. The other connector (passenger side near the windshield washer refill) does not have burn marks on that one. Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem? Obviously Mazda doesn't care cause I brought my problem up with them and they TOLD me "i don't care", so that's out of the question. Any suggestions?

Well I switched out my stock bulbs b/c my my left original one burned out. So that's when I switched to the Cool Blue Sylvias. And as cheap as they were, they were still much brighter than my originals. Then my Sylvias burned out as well. the process of buying new lights is starting to get expensive. But I think I'm going to go ahead and give those Phillips Blue Visions a go.... And can anyone confirm what "size" (or whatever you want to call it) bulb I need for regular low beams?

Plus they have a warranty. These have been the brightest and longest lasting aftermarket bulbs I've had.
