Lightning pinstripe...

I was wondering if anyone else got a lightning pinstripe on their MP3 from the dealer....

I have seen a lot of MP3s on this site but I haven't noticed anyone with the pinstripe before.

That almost looks like someone keyed the car. I wouldn't want that on my car. Unless you get a picture of the whole car then maybe I can make a better judgement.

Yeah, it's definitely a matter of taste. A lot of people tell me the same thing, that they think it got keyed...

Here's a full picture:

The yellow calipers and tint look awsome, as for the pin stripe, it's not that bad looking. It's all about what you think of it.

...

Yeah.... I like the car with or without it.

The tint and calipers I am very happy with.... Painting the calipers was one of the best things I've done for the appearance of the car so for (ok, so it's also about the only thing I've done... but I still like it a lot.)

They charge you extra for that? I skipped purchasing a yellow MP3 (had only 7 miles on it at the time!) from one dealer because it had pinstripes on and the dealership was planning on charging $200 extra for that thing.

Well I don't remember seeing it on the list of features... and the dealer was ready to sell the car..... so I think I got off easy.

It wasn't too hard to paint the calipers. It's a lot easier with some help than it would be alone.... thats for sure.

I used plastikote brake caliper paint found at Pep Boys.
