Lighter Fuse...

Ok, so my MS6 has two blown fuses. One for the lighter, and one for the accessory power outlet in the center consol. I've now gone to 2 different automotive suppliers and my local mazda dealer and nobody has seen these fuses or has them in stock. I can't find them online either. Has anybody had the same problem? Where the F can I get some? Thanks.

Advance Auto Parts. They are the micro fuses, even smaller than the minis.

I went through the same thing last month. I found out that the small mini-fuses fit and work fine, these you can find at any autoparts store. The only place I could find the exact same micro fuse was the dealership. I stopped by a Mazda dealership and the parts guy just gave me a few.

Just FYI, there are spares in the fuse box as well. There was a diagram in the owner's manual of my MS6 that listed the positions of the spare fuses in both the underdash box and the box under the hood.

There are 1 of each 5, 10, and 15 in the underdash box....they're found in the rightmost column of fuses.

I used the 15 to replace the blown fuse for my cigarette lighter. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, OP. (2thumbs) I was going to go to the dealer and have them replace it, and didn't even think of the fact that I had a blown fuse.
