light weight wheels

I have a problem finding the subzeros with the finish I want and with 48 offset, I can either find them with 45 offset and the finish I want or 48 offset but not with the right finish. So my question is should I just go with 45offset or with 48 but not like I want them. My other question is if someone know if it will be easy to make the lip of the rim polished, I mean can i do it myself. Thanks in advance.

do you guys think that $1260 is a good price for 17x7 5Zigen FN01R-C with 225/45 Proxes4 shipped, balanced, ..?

finally decided, I am gonna go with the 5zigen FN01R-C (17x7 +48) with Kumho Ecsta ASX (225/45) is the tire size ok ? Thank you for the help!

I would get the Proxes 4s over the Kumhos, I just got my Motegi FF7s with Proxes and this is my second set. Hold the road well, wet weather is no problem, and theyre quiet.

I was debating between the proxes and the ecstas and I did a little research in the forum and everyone was saying they are very happy with the ecstas.

I paid 850 for wheels and tires, wheels were 539 and tires were 276 at cost, but the total would have been about 1400 if I would have paid retail. Tires are 205/40/17s.

you're not gonna get much lighter than these. 18x10 is 14lbs. price is another story though

Man, this has been discussed dozens of times. Look around. The answers you seek are easily available.

Yeah i think i put just over a grand on my schwab's account. not the best deal but i needed to get my summer tires off and I didn't have cash on hand.

it is crazy I have been trying to find wheels for my car for nearly a week. I can't find neither the 5Zigen FN01R-C in Black with a poilished lip or the Rota Subzero with a polished lip, I tried calling everywhere and they tell me they don't have them in that size (17x7 +48). Any ideas? Thanks

I went through the same thing trying to find wheels before finally going with what I bought. Black with polished is a hard one to find IMO, especially in our offset. I went through countless websites and finally ended up going to the local tire shop, where I got them at cost.
