PS: arnt your coilovers slotted? Couldn't you just pull them back in a little?

No... The rear camber plates just have 2 bolt-in locations for camber (if that makes sense).

What's a corner balance do? And what rear end links did u go with?

It's for coilovers, the tech sets the ride height just ride so you have an even balance of weight from side to side.

I'll ask Dave to borrow one of his fancy lens' and then we can do a shoot. Think of a nice location!

Okee dokee!

ahhhhhhhhhh! youre autocrossing with us in toledo june third!??! now im even more excited!!

Yeah, buddy! You'll have to show me some tricks and tips. :)

The top of the two rear strut mounts on the BC's is slotted. You can get up to -2.3 degrees with just those. The alignment shop just needs to loosen the strut bolts and pull or push the top of the wheel to adjust camber.

Oh really!? I had no idea. I didn't even notice when installing them. Thanks for the heads up, guys! When I get it corner balanced in the fall I'll have them set the rear camber again.

So if you can get up to -2.3 degree of camber in the back, why are AAC selling the K-Sport camber plates? Blast.

Because getting camber that way puts the wheel closer to the strut, which does not work for high offset or super wide wheels. The camber plates tilt the whole assembly so the wheel and strut move together.

Good and evil again.

I'll gladly take that.

I asked Josh to buff out the roof rack and Sirious radio antennea blemishes today. He did a splendid job, as always. Thanks again, guy! (2thumbs)

I also finally remembered to order the rear wheel bearing from Rock Auto. Hopefully it will be here by the weekend. Long weekend means I'll remove the tint. That's gonna be a blast...

And rear brakes pads (Hawk HP+) and SS brake lines (StopTech) from CR3 should be soon. I picked up some speedbleeders and Wilwood 570 brake fluid for a good flush.

Just pee on your windows, ammonia helps. I had a Sirius antennae attached on my roof when I bought my car, the receiver cable ran all through my car to the glove box and that was it. I promptly removed and the trashed it. There is sun fade and scratch marks where it sat and slide side to side

Evan do you find you are sitting higher in the Speed3 seats then the OEM protege seats? sat in mine for the first time in ages and could not remember if the old seats sat that high..

Yeah, the Speed3's do sit a wee (~1") bit higher than the stockers. I still need to sit in them with my helmet on but it should clear. I'm 6-1 and sit upright though. It's weird the Milly actually has less headroom than the P5 with the Speed3 seats.

cool thanks, i though i might have gone crazy since it felt like i was a bit higher then the old seats.

You haz Speed3's too? All your engine bay shots and barely any interior shots... ;)

no interior shots yet... I have custom wrapped Mazda3 seats and matching rears.. black leather and black suede with a subtle blue stitching..

The sexiest Mazda seats alive, however I'm 6'4" and sit with my legs apart so they aren't buried in the steering column
