Thanks, guys.

I've got pretty much all the major components for the N/A build. Waiting on a new circuit breaker (mine broke when mounting) then working on the wiring. And motivation has been lacking.

motivation is hard to find when the weather gets colder and snow is coming.. I wish i had a garage to hide in some days.. than i could easily work on my car than and get things i want done.. Evan please posts pics and build it for those of us who cannot..

Yeah, I'll get cracking this week. I'm usually just so burnt out after work I don't want to do anything but play my bass and do some Chiving. But I'm sure I'll get into it again once I clean out the garage and get organized.

What's nice about our garage is that if you really wanna work out there in the winter, it doesn't take a lot to get it up to moderate working temps.

Fixed that for ya, sorry about the BBC influence :)

Just haven't been motivated to work on her much, honestly.

I have a third circuit breaker coming, hopefully it's the right one this time. VMinnovations via Amazon sucks. They sent me the wrong one the first time, I was going to use it anyway but the mounting tabs broke. So I ordered another one, the original style I wanted in the first place and they sent me the wrong one again. So I asked for a refund and went with a different company. Should be here this week. If it's not super bad out like it's been I'll get some work done saturday but I've got a jam session in the evening. Then sunday swaping my friends springs.

I used to come home from work and work on the P5 but I've been having some wicked headaches for about 3 weeks. We changed out my monitor at work today and it seems to help a lot. So I just haven't felt like wrenching lately. But the swap is still going down for sure! I still read car magazines and this forum all day and think about all the work i still have left on the P5. Don't worry, I won't up and sell the project or anything crazy like that. Just hit a bit of a rut lately.

I know how you feel. I havent have any real motivation since I bought coils more than a year ago. And working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week doesnt help. lol

Yeah. it's like the times I'm super pumped to go home and wrench I'm stuck at work or have a migraine. Then when it's the weekend I'm too tired/lazy/impatient to go wrench. That's another big thing too, I'm in no rush and want everything to be done the right way the first time. If I'm rushing then I do shoddy work. But alas, I shall get some work done this weekend! Just talking about wrenching has me all pumped up again. haha

I think everyone's like that with their hobbies, if you do anything that intensely for so long you simply get burned out. But you'll get back to it, as we all do.

It doesn't help that your deadline is so far away, you'll have to pace yourself if you want to finish by the time the snow has melted.

But seriously, hurry the hell up.

I agree, Nick. I think with so many things to do I should just focus on one thing at a time instead of little bits here and there. Regardless, I'll get to work very soon and she'll be running and tuned in the spring. :)

Got my CR3 radiator brackets. Finally! Haha, just kidding, Cres. Along with some goodies. Zoom-zoom temporary tattoo for when I'm at the gym getting my swell on, dawg.

I mocked up the Mishimoto rad and checked out the fan setup. I think I'm going to run the fans in front to save room for the lower radiator hose setup. That's going to have to be custom too.

All the wiring is mostly for the oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauges. Plus the alt and stock oil pressure light. I'm going to use the Summit clamps and some wrap so it will look nice and clean.

Also made the 2 gauge battery wiring for the battery and circuit breaker. I'm getting pretty good at soldering up the connections and terminals. Gotta make another run to Summit and Home Depot Racing for parts but it's supposed to be sunny and 60 this weekend, my GF will be out of town and I don't have to help wrench on any other cars so I'm dedicating it to the P5.

What exactly are you soldering? Soldered connections tend to crack over time, crimping is the preferred method for attaching terminals/splicing wires.

while exposed or just single wire connections can crack, properly taped and loomed soldered connections should remain connected better than crimped connections. I typically crimp and solder terminals, but splicing I just solder, tape and/or heatshrink and then loom the wires. If this is such a bad method, I dont see why manufacturers use it on the stock harness.
