The whole install process went a lot faster and without as many hitches as I anticipated, which was great. I've learned to expect the worst after working on a few bigger projects. We had it installed and all tightened up in about an hour and a half. The most tedious part was trimming the panels to fit, and re-installing all of them.

If you wondered how far $28 will go in a hardware store, the answer is: not far.
Clearly I couldn't get any picture of us maneuvering the bar into the car, but first we tried through the hatch, and kind of got it stuck inside the cabin in a position where it wouldn't work, so we took it out through a back door. The we realized it clearly has to be able to go through the door, as the sedans don't have a hatch. We got it wrangled back into the cabin and were able to stand it up where it needed to go. After a bit more work, the rear arms were on as well. We were ready to mark the holes to drill, but then I realized that with it still on top of the carpet, it wasn't in its final position.
Had to do a bit of surgery to get the bar to where it would finally sit.
There was much pulling, as shown here, to tweak how it sat so the rear arm plates would sit nicely against the rear strut towers
Making speed holes
Holes on the floor pan were marked, and then drilled
Holding the bolt head on the backing plate side, so it could be tightened from the inside
Tightening the nuts
Trimming the plastic panels
The fit and finish comes out as nice as you want it to.
Backing plates and bolts on the underside sprayed with rubberized truck bed liner
Ample clearance behind the MS3 driver's seat, even with it all the way back on the sliders
Money shot
It makes me giggle, it looks so bad ass lurking inside those back windows
And when it's all done, strike a sexy pose, because baby, you earned it!
I can say, after heading out to lunch and seeing it in the rear view mirror, it looks really serious with the diagonal bar clearly visible through the windshield. It's like a big sign that says, "No kids!"
Also, I thought it was cute how the GT Spec trunk cage matches the BC Coilovers! Aww!
