I don't want to sound like a d-bag or anything, but it's true, Ivan. I mean, anyone can just buy parts and slap them on. Or even have a local shop slap them on for you. It's just money, time and some weekends in the garage. Someone could have the exact P5 as me if they wanted to. But my rust is allllll custom, baby.
If anything, it's the cats who have helped me with the swap online with advice, info and the cats wrenching in the garage with me who deserve the credit. I didn't do anything none of you couldn't do yourself. And without you guys, I couldn't have done jack. Hell, it would still be standing over the engine bay scratching my head. Haha!
So IF I do win, it's because of all of my friends hard work and support online and in person. You d-bags.

Anyway, back to build thread talk. I've got a Sparco steering wheel hopefully coming in from Scratch (RIP) soon. I've already got the hub for it. I had a Sparco on my Civic and loved it. So the P5 wheel will be up for sale.

well ive been following your build for a bit but never have posted but, man i dont care what others say i like what youve done with your ride man. Im no mechanic i can do the basics so most of my parts have been done in a shop or ive had buddies come over to help do the install. But im in the middle of collecting all the parts i need to put my motor/car back together and id like to do most of the stuff on my own so i can have the "pride in my ride" like you do.
Thats some quality work you got there, and once my protege is done i hope itll be up there with yours and the other guys quality wise i mean. Of course i wont be up there speed wise in a KL, unfortunately itll be the bastard motor of mazda time forgot the 1.6L but itll be mine that i built (of course with my friends help and the guys on the forum who have helped me get to the point im at now) but you know what i mean.

I am glad he is not shoving it in everyone's face. It is too often that people shove what they have done in everyone's face, when it usually is not anything unique..unlike Evan's P5 swap. It is refreshing to see the KL getting some love in a community outside of the Probe/Mx6 community.

Probably because none of them have answers to your questions. I haven't seen your posts, but it's pretty sporadic what they respond too. There are only about 10 active members, and the knowledge base is drastically different from PT, lol.
