lets see some of those aftermarket sound systems...

Can't put up pictures since I don't own a camera and too much work to borrow one from a friend --> transfer images to computer --> post them on forum. What I can tell you is what I've got installed and how it's in my car.

- VST 2-DIN In-Dash DVD/NAV/RADIO/AUX/CD Player
- Rockford Fosgate Power-Series 5.25" Component speakers in front (150 watts max)
- Rockford Fosgate Power-Series 5.25" Component speakers in back with custom tweeter mounts (150 watts max)
- a pair of Rockford Fosgate Power-Series T1 Sub-Woofers (1,200 watts max each)
- Xplode 4-channel amplifier mounted under driver's seat (forgot what the watt rating is)
- Rockford Fosgate 2-channel amplifier mounted under passenger seat (forgot what the watt rating is)
- 1-Farad Capacitor for the subs but I can't remember the brand

All-in-all, I have about 3,000 watts of power. The component speakers are loud enough that I can hear the words clearly enough even with the bass on absolute max setting. From the outside of my car, with the volume on max, I can see the roof and windshield flex from the bass hits. I've gone through 2 sets of subs before this and a set of components and I'm not disappointed this time. At first, it was just a tad bit too loud, but I guess I've deafened myself enough to tolerate it without any amount of discomforte now.

Really simple and stealth. I plan to upgrade the components in the doors later.

I have the same sub box. The company that use to make them went out of business. I had to make my own out of fiberglass. There is a how to floating around somewhere.

I am not good with fiberglass, or building. You want to make me one???(2thumbs)

could i just use the stock amp to hook up a sub in my trunk. im thinkning of putting one 10 inch in the back but making it look simple and stock.

Just becareful with those stealth type boxes as they are not very loud. If your looking for some thing that is actually going to hit. That is not the right box for you. There is very little air space in that box so not much volume.
