more to come from me. If I can get my build thread over here I will post it up for you guys!

mine is an 87 turbo II. pretty much stock, except for the racingbeat turboback exhaust.

plans are;

13b-re swap
single turbo conversion (since the re comes twin)
megasquirt EMS
FMIC
and a fuel system to match.

mine will start after the first of the year and i think it will last about a year in the build process. there will be times that it will be done enough to drive, but i will be building for a while.

im thinkin eunos cosmo twin turbo 20b was the flagship...

The only reason I disagree is because it is in writing that the RX7 is the car the held up and continued the build of the rotary vehicle.

The cosmos TT did not come out till when.. 93-95 I think..
but if you just want to say the best car ok(bow) I agree there lol..

To me the Cosmo, RX-7, and RX-8s all deserve flagship titles. But the 8 is indeed the world's first 4-door, 4-seat sports car.

"The first is the latest iteration of Mazda's flagship rotary-powered sports car, the RX-8."
- MNO Press 2003

OK read that again... the first in the "LATEST"

the RX7 will ALWAYS be considered Mazdas first TRUE "flagship car"...

Regardless.. the ROTARY engine is the flagship engine of Mazda ;)

Well I haven't posted alot here, but I have a few 7's. I was in the middle of finishing my 86 widebody project and starting in on turbo swapping my 83. Now that the Economy is bad and my money is a little funny at the moment I'm just cleaning up my 88 with a few small mods since i have most of the parts & I still have the modding bug. Pics and specs of the 86 are up under my intro post. Here's a few things I have gathered for my 83 turbo car. Ford 9" with 4.56 rear gears, Large FMIC 24" x 12" x 4", Four 830cc inj. & a GT45.

^ Thanx. I need to get a manifold & wastegate, thinking about the Turbosmart 60mm.
I have a few fuel componets for the 83 as well.
