I've been wanting the LED tails you find on Ebay for the longest time and I finally decided to buy them ($196.58 came with silver blinker bulbs). I'm glad I did cuz they look way better than stock. They were however difficult to install because they came with no directions and I've never done anything electrical. I just started by ripping off all the trunk carpet liner and wedged my hand between it and the metal bumper. I couldn't totally take off all the liner so I managed to open a slit probly 2 inches wide to get my hand in there to work. Lets just say my wrists are "damaged" from the metal and plastic bumpers...they look like im a cutter ...lol I had to push very hard to get the new bulbs to go into the old housing...but finally got them in. I tested all the lights to check that they worked and then put the trunk back "together"...lol...all in all it took me 2 hours, not to bad. Here are some pics of what they look like, I'll get some night pics as soon as I can! Comments?(yes, I know I have an Audi S badge on my car and I like it, so sorry if it bothers some of ya'll)

No offense, dude, but please remove the Audi S emblem from your car. That's just the height of lameness.

So hows the lights during the day?

I heard you can barely see LEDs in daylight.............for me that would be a safety issue. I wouldnt want to get rear ended just cause the person behind me couldnt see my lights.

Sorry other than that it looks good. I have always liked LEDs!!

they are kinda light during the day...if can even notice they are on in the pics, but they brighten up alot more when u press the breaks. At night they're fine on both brightnesses. And to all of u who don't like my Audi badge, if u would of read the 1st post, i really don't care what u think about the badge, this post is about the LED's not the badge...
PEACE>>>

the tails look hot. but there is a reason why OEMs dont use exposed leds for tail lights, they have the plastic red over white leds. im sure i couldnt see your brake lights during the day...alot of trucks around nashville have similar tails like you do and its damn near impossible to see during the day. at night its fine and they look great. but i think some all red rock blocker film would look great on those IMO if they made a cut for the tails. watch your ass man;)

Would those help the light(during the day) more?.......

shoulda went withthe OEM 07 grand touring LED tails, they look bette and are safer. but to each his own

I've got an '06 SP23 GT (hatch of course) with the factory leds. Daytime is very bright. At night I actually light up the passenger cabin of vehicles behind me, and they're aimed slightly to the side to not fully blind people behind you. Strong super leds for sure on the stock ones.

I noticed that with my car and at a stop light I will tap the brakes and flash the leds at the car behind me, its, quite funny.

Heh, yeah I strobe people that get too close for comfort. They get visibly annoyed.(friday)

Nice S logo from Audi.

That logo only belongs ina S4 Audi With V8 380 Hp and 3 times the cost of your car.
