i just installed them today running off the cig lighter...i would have had more but i blew 4 bulbs accidently touched wrong or something...i need a substitute power source and i want to use the fuse box under the glove and need to know how to tap into a fuse box... please give me links where i can buy the hardware for this...let me know what u think about the lights..i think there badass

I like that it looks real good...Question for ya how did you get the leds in the center vents and what did you use for a power source? I like the blue look very nice and clean lookin....Brian

i used the cig lighter..jsut spliced the wires and stuck them inside the plug..same thing i did with my radar..it works but if i roll all the windows down at once the lights dim...but i never roll down more than 1 at a time..i want to get a different power source because when i start getting gauges and s*** i dont want to rely on the cig lighter for all my eye candy...

o yea the vents are easy acces..i bough leds that have sticky side and i jsut stuck them to the inside middle and ran the wire down to the cig lighter.. i need 4 mroe lights and my setup will be done..i have a few more spots u guys might like..ill post when i get them...but i really need to know where i can buy something to tap the fuse box or something...any more attachments to the cig lights proly wouldnt be too safe

I wouldn't worry about the lights dimming. I noticed it happening to the gauge lights even when stock.

You could always tap off the accent light for inside the ashtray...

I did something similar to this with a truck I had once. I had some sound sensitive lights in the back of a Tacoma I had with a system in it and I ran everything from the fuse box with those lights. I found everything at AutoZone. It's been so long since I did it tho that I couldn't even begin to tell you what all I had or how I did it. Haha.

That's why I suggested tapping the accent light. It only comes on with the parking/headlights...
no switch required...
