Mine does the same. It takes awhile before it goes back to normal. How's your driver seat? Mine is all wrinkled and its only been 7 months.+ friction said:Are you referring to an indentation on the back seats?
I have these after folding my rear seatbacks down for even short periods of time...they never seem to totally go away, but just get a little better with time.
Mine is still fine after 9,xxx miles. I did fall for the environmental package when I bought the car, though...supposedly the leather should look like new for 3 years or the dealer will replace or repair it.stutter said:Mine does the same. Good idea - I'll try that next time.aznsebass said:when you fold your seats down.. use your floor mats to protect your seats from the getting dents from whatever it is that causes them. thats what my dealer told me when i bought the car.
[just like the rest of you].

jonlong: I'll look for documentation of that, but I'm sure I signed a contract stating that there is a warranty. The package I bought was through an outside (at least I think outside) contractor, but it was done at the dealer (I'm sure they get a kickback). The package included a sealant on the both the leather and the paint.
Basically, I should not have to wax the car or treat the leather for 3 (maybe 4 years) b/c of the treatment applied. If I can find out more info on it, I'll let you know. I'm thinking it cost between $300 and $400.
I was skeptical at first, but the finance guy at the dealer is someone I trust as I worked with him when I bought a Honda. He was the one that convinced me to do it.
I was told that I would not have to maintain the leather (or wax), but yeah...probably BS. Relative to the sticker price of $20,000+ I just figured what the hell, $300 is worth a try.Mike R said:LOL, I bought the same BS stuff. They screwed it up and I got my money back. The problem I saw with the warranty for all that stuff is that I never got any documentation on maintaining the leather and paint (when to reapply stuff)
You think folding the seats is bad, try having baby seats strapped down tight for 9 months. Talk about some indentations. And my bony ass sitting in the drivers seat for 3 hours at a time daily. My poor leather!
My son's seat is beating the crap out of my seats. I use the LATCH system for his forward-facing seat. Even though I have a pad for underneath and behind it, it's not tall enough, so I have dents in the seatback and the center strap makes a nice indentation under the headrest.Mike R said:LOL, I bought the same BS stuff.
